Quality of Design

The design is “look and feel” of any website. Styling, font choices and color choices can be agonized over or glossed over depending on the design complexity. In order to minimize time spent in working on a custom design and to reduce costs to fit a tight budget, some designers make use of pre-purchased themes and templates. However, the end result may be disappointing. To avoid this situation, see some specification of design levels that we offer

  • Simple yet attractive design This design level involves creating a fancy design with minimalistic elements —and with as few of them as possible. This type of design is the simplest in our repertoire. It is best for simple one-page business or informational websites (marketing-focus, no e-commerce).

  • Moderately stylized design

This level comes with all the components of the simple design but with additional options and elements. It is best for mid-size business or informational websites (marketing-focus, no e-commerce).

  • High-end design This is a quality and user-centred design approach aimed to create efficiently performing and visually enticing websites. This level is best for simple business or e-commerce websites.
  • World class

It is exactly as it is named. This design level comes with a variety of features and elements performed on the highest quality level. It is best for large-size business or e-commerce websites.

Types of design also matter. Let us briefly characterize them:

  • Fixed design

A fixed web page has a set width. So it will not alter when resizing the browser.  Due to the need to scroll horizontally, content is more difficult to view on smaller devices such as tablets or smartphones.

  • Responsive design

This design is aimed to make website viewing as easy as possible when displaying a website on various devices in forms that are easy to navigate and read. This avoids users from the need to scroll through or resize the web page to view it. Basically, the website is easily usable and viewable on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.

  • Fluid  or Liquid design

When a user resizes the browser, the content spreads itself out to fill the width of the web page. That is exactly why it is called liquid design. Unlike the fixed design with fixed columns, in fluid design, the columns containing the content are created using percentages. Thus, they decrease or increase in size relative to each other.

Quality web design is a valuable investment. However, is the price tag worth it? Definitely, and here is why:

  • Room for further development

Quality design creates a solid foundation for any improvements you may want to make after your website is finished. Whether you want to add a new service or product, the website will already have a strong aesthetic.

  • Consisted identity of your brand

An expert designer thinks about the big picture. He or she creates a visual language for your brand that is consistent across multiple contexts. Your business cards, logo, and, of course, the website should form a coherent whole. A brand that has a consistent language makes a more memorable visual impression.

  • Reliable partnership

Web designers and business owners should work together to create a website. This process involves compromise and communication.

  • An increasing number of visitors

You are not looking for clicks, you actually don’t need them. You are looking for visitors who will get to know who you are and browse through your website. The majority of people will leave websites after one glimpse. Therefore, you will need to come up with something special to keep them interested.

  • Objective Perspective

You may be the expert on your business, however, you are not an expert on design. Quality web design comes from the experience of how to transfer an idea into a website. So sometimes there should be a compromise between what works for the web and what you want.

  • Perfect details

The choice of contrast, spacing of text, and fonts are details that make a difference in the overall quality of any website. These nuances affect how functional and readable your website is.

  • Purpose, structure, and form to content

Design and content should be perfectly aligned on your website as most visitors will not put in the effort to understand your message. A  designer works with your content so that it directs visitors to what you want them to do.

  • Distinction from competitors

There are numerous websites that look the same within one industry. Therefore, being good-enough is not enough anymore. The real quality is to distil all of your selling points into a single coherent message.

  • More clients

Calls-to-action is the learn more, buy now, and sign-up parts of your website. What they say, how they look, and where they are on the website will determine how many new customers decide to purchase something from you. Complexity makes web work very difficult to budget and unpredictable. However, quality is an attribute that is definitely worth spending extra money on.
