Airlugg

The goal

Founded and based in Los Angeles, Airlugg is the first convenient rental solution for luggage and travel needs.

The client wanted to improve their old user flow and UX as a whole. Also, the UI design needed improvement as well.

Airlugg team had their own vision of what they wanted. All they needed from us was to develop a high-quality design. So here we go again.

Challenges

The main challenge was to make everything right from the first try.
We should not have to invent everything from the scratch.
All we had to do is to take the initial design and enhance it.

But it was not as easy as it seemed.

Solution

We got lucky that the client had source Sketch files. This allowed us to save lots of time redesigning the project.

Wireframes

We skipped this stage as we already had source files.

Design

All we needed was to adjust current design and add several new features.
We made a few changes to the color scheme and styles to make it look more modern and consistent.

Also we offered to implement several UX solutions to improve user flow.
Not a big deal. But the whole website got a new look. And this is a real magic of design. You take the old design, make some changes and the project gets a new life!

Development

No development on this project.
The client had their own frontend and backend developers.

Conclusion

To sum up, we’d want to say that even a minor spot intervention in design can bring huge benefits for the whole project. The main thing is to recognize and fix the weak points of a website.
